Sleep Strategies for Tired Families with Erin Metheny
Next workshop will be scheduled fall 2024
Parenting is exhausting, especially when your child(ren) are having sleep challenges! There's plenty of sleep advice in the early days, but once kids are older new challenges arise and we're often lost trying to find our way through. Do we give in to the 3rd request to go potty at bedtime? What's the best way to handle multiple night wake-ups? How did bedtime go from 7pm to 10pm? Why can't the evening routine be calm, relaxing, and less stressful for everyone?!
Join Erin Metheny, a mom, licensed therapist, parent coach, and pediatric sleep consultant for this program to positively impact your whole family's sleep and rest. In a 90-minute in-person workshop, Erin will present approaches centered on emotional safety and connection rather than fear, cry-it-out, locking the door, consequences and reward charts. You will learn strategies to assist your child in achieving confident, independent sleep and, in turn, allow everyone to become connected and well rested. Following the workshop, the program continues with two one-on-one sessions with Erin to receive customized support for your specific challenges, feedback, and more personalized strategies. These 30-minute calls will be scheduled within two months of the workshop to compliment what you learned and help implement your sleep plan. |

Meet Erin Metheny
Erin is a certified pediatric sleep consultant, a licensed marriage & family therapist, and founder of The Well Rested, a pediatric sleep consulting business that helps families become well rested by providing the necessary tools for independent sleep while maintaining healthy attachment.
From an early age, Erin developed a passion to help families which led her to a career as a family therapist. While working as a therapist, she quickly noticed that poor sleep was at the root of many of her client's challenges. When she became a mom and recovered from postpartum depression with sleep deprivation, she knew that she wanted to help more families become rested, healthy, and happy. Erin received her certification from the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management in order to change the lives of more families by providing them with the right tools and compassion needed to become well rested. |
