Motherhood: Redefined
We know you feel overwhelmed. No matter how much you do, it doesn't feel like enough. You and your burnout are invisible to the world, where there’s too much judgement and not enough connection.
Let’s change that.
In this community we value interdependence over independence. Join us to redefine motherhood for yourself and your family in a welcoming and inclusive space. We will be real, creative, and messy as we gather to explore what motherhood means to us.

|
Alone, we wonder, “am I the only one who’s struggling?” Together, we remind each other of how strong and resilient we actually are.
The program
We’ll meet weekly in circles of 6-8 mothers to share, dig deep, and support each other.
The program will include:
The program will include:
- In-person circle gatherings each week (with the option to join on zoom if needed)
- Weekly practices to help us connect to ourselves and reflect on our lives
- Curated resources on motherhood, parenting, patriarchy, self-cultivation and more
- Guides, activities, and handouts to complement our weekly conversations
- A WhatsApp group to stay connected between sessions
We'll hold an open, welcoming, and judgement-free space to explore motherhood identity within the context of a culture that doesn’t support mothers. Most mothers in the program have between 1 and 3 children who are ages 6 months to 10 years old. Some mothers bring their child(ren) and others attend solo. Please see the FAQ below for more details or reach out to us with any questions. Meet your facilitators Robyn Gordon & Elizabeth Hubley We can't wait to do this together! |

The Motherhood Redefined Circle came into my life at a time when I really needed it. It was a space that allowed me to be seen, heard, and understood and to feel less alone. Every week we explored topics that were extremely interesting and relevant to the challenges that we as mothers and women face in our society. Thanks to our excellent facilitators who were able to create a safe space, the discussions were engaging and real and I always left feeling better and recharged. I also very much appreciated the notes that were shared after our sessions and the thoughtful "homework" that was given to help us continue to learn/grow outside of our meeting time. Thursday mornings became the highlight of my week and I'm deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to be a part of this group!

Motherhood: Redefined FAQ
Who can join?
We welcome anyone who identifies as a mother into this program. ALL moms are welcome. We embrace diversity in background, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, etc.
How many people will be in my circle?
The circle will have between 6-8 moms.
Can I bring my child(ren)?
Moms & their young children are welcome. We don't provide separate childcare so children will be with us in the circle and you are welcome to bring toys, snacks, and other entertainment for them. You are also welcome to come on your own.
What if I need accommodations for a disability?
We strive to host circles that are inclusive, accessible spaces for all mama-identifying people, including those with disabilities, to engage in. If you have an accessibility need please mention it in the registration form and we'll follow up with you directly.
Where do we meet?
The in-person cohort will meet in Silver Spring, MD and the virtual cohort will attend on zoom.
Why should I join?
Modern-day parenting is exhausting and often lonely. We're doing the most important work in the world, yet are undervalued in our culture. We're here to bring back essential connections, (re)discover our self-worth, and create the community we need.
What if I am going to miss a week? Is there a way to make-up?
Due to the session/cohort model there are no make-ups but we will have the option to call/zoom in if you are unable to attend in-person.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?
Refunds (minus a processing fee) are available up to two weeks ahead of the start date. Cancellations made between two weeks and one week before the start of the circle receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after one week prior to the start date.
