Pregnancy Circles
Pregnancy circle is a place to connect with others as you navigate your changing body, birth options, and prepare for life with a new baby. This is a virtual circle of 5-10 pregnant people who are looking for community and connection during this time of transformation.
You'll get to build your village (even before your baby is born!) and have consistent, experienced support during time of uncertainty and constant change. The circle is strengthened by diversity, openness, vulnerability and sharing and is an inclusive community for parents and families of all kinds.

Pregnancy Circle helped me remain centered and focused during what could be a very stressful time. No one can prepare you for pregnancy and birth, but knowing that you have a supportive community of women to share your experiences with makes everything a whole lot easier. |
Even though we weren't together in person, I couldn't wait for our weekly virtual sessions in the comfort of my own home. I would always get off the call with a huge smile on my face and a feeling that weight had just been lifted from my shoulders. |
Pregnancy circle is an 8-week community building experience where participants will meet online weekly for 75 minutes. Participants are welcome to join in any trimester and can be welcoming their first child or an additional child into their families. This is a closed cohort of individuals to allow for greater sharing, commitment and connection.

Pregnancy Circle FAQ
Who can join?
We welcome ALL pregnant people and embrace diversity in background, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, etc. The circle is usually a good mix of new and veteran mom-identifying parents - first-time, second-time or those with many more children are welcome.
How many people will be in my circle? What will they be like?
Each circle will have between 5-10 pregnant people. There are often both single and partnered people and first-time and second-time mom-identifying parents. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other pregnant people and mom-identifying people on our online community.
Are all of the participants from the DC area?
Most of the pregnant people in the group are in the DC area. Occasionally we have people join our circles from other states and countries as well.
Where do we meet?
We are currently meeting on zoom so you get to call-in from the comfort of your home! We'll plan one optional circle gathering in-person as well.
Will I get anything out of this group if it is virtual?
Yes! You'll get to connect with other pregnant people on a weekly basis from the comfort of your own home. We'll share our knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Plus, you'll start to grow your community even before your baby arrives.
What will we talk about during the sessions?
Each session will have content to guide you through pregnancy and postpartum. The sessions are outlined as follows:
Week 1 || Rooting into Community // Introductions + Building the Circle
Week 2 || Womb Journeys // The path to pregnancy
Week 3 || Reclaiming Power // Making Confident Choices
Week 4 || Head and Heart // Preparing for Birth
Week 5 || Finding your Voice // Advocacy
Week 6 || Intuition // Learning to Listen & Trust
Week 7 || Building toward Bliss // Preparing for Postpartum
Week 8 || Integration and Closing
When should I join?
The short answer is join when you are ready! You are welcome to join as soon as you know you are pregnant or up to about 32 weeks pregnant (as the circle lasts 8 weeks). Pregnant people join in their first, second, and third trimesters.
What if I am going to miss a week? Is there a way to make-up?
Due to the cohort model of the circle, there are no make-ups.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?
Refunds (minus a processing fee) are available up to two weeks ahead of the start date. Cancellations made between two weeks and one week before the start of the circle receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after one week prior to the start date.
Can I give the Pregnancy Circle as a gift?
Absolutely! It's a wonderful alternative to more baby "stuff." Simply contact us and we'll provide you with a personalized gift certificate.
What if the time doesn't work for me?
Please get in touch! We'll expand the circle if there is more demand and would love to include you in a future group if we are able.
