Intuitive Eating for Families: A Workshop Series
How to help your kids - and yourself - reject diet culture and have a happy, healthy relationship with food & body. If food feels tricky, you’re not alone: with social media *everywhere* and the rising prevalence of disordered eating, so many parents are asking "How can I instill a healthier approach to nutrition in my children?" Intuitive Eating for Families is a virtual workshop series that answers that question. Intuitive Eating for Families is a 6-session biweekly virtual workshop series for parents of young children (infants through school age) who want to create a positive food and body culture at home. If you're stressed and overwhelmed about struggles over sweets, picky eating, and what "healthy" really means, this series will help you find confidence and calm around food. Led by a Registered Dietitian who specializes in maternal and childhood nutrition, participants will learn exactly how to think and talk about food in a way that is both empowering and accurate. Meetings will involve education mingled with rich discussion and be held every other week for 60 minutes. This is a closed cohort of individuals to facilitate deeper sharing and maximum growth, as we build upon what we learned in prior weeks. Through this Intuitive Eating for Families series you’ll receive: - Evidence-based nutritional guidance for both adults and children - Tools to navigate real life challenges related to food and body image - Hands-on exercises to implement between sessions, to put thoughts into action - Connection and camaraderie with other parents - Regular email check-ins and the opportunity to ask questions between sessions |
Each week we’ll unpack a new topic in our session:
Week 1 || The Intuitive Eating Toolkit / Understand the core strategies we’ll use for a healthier approach to food Week 2 || Un-Learning / Reject the diet mindsets that hold us back as parents Week 3 || Nutrition Foundations / What “healthy eating” looks like day-to-day Week 4 || Feeding Roles / How to draw boundaries when kids are picky Week 5 || Gentle Nutrition for Kids / Raise informed eaters without a side of diet culture Week 6 || Sweets & Treats / Navigating “junk food” with your kids |

Each workshop will have between 4-8 participants.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?

What if I need accommodations for a disability?
We strive to host circles that are inclusive, accessible spaces for all mama-identifying people, including those with disabilities, to engage in. If you have an accessibility need please mention it in the registration form and we'll follow up with you directly.
