Motherhood Circle: Part Time Working Moms
Motherhood circles are for moms to deepen connections with each other as we continue to shape our identities and raise our children. In these circles moms with young children explore modern-day motherhood, parenting with consciousness and intention, and support each other while building confidence in ourselves as mothers.
The Part Time Working Moms Circle is for moms who are working part-time outside the home (or from home!) to connect around navigating this unique role in-between full-time parent and full-time employee (or entrepreneur). We'll talk about how this impacts our identities, relationships with our partners, friends, and children, and our day-to-day lives. Monthly meetings will allow us time and space to connect deeply around a topic, and we'll continue to support each other between sessions as well.
The circles include in-person (or virtual) meetings, activities and articles in-between sessions, and additional support with your cohort of other part time working moms on a regular basis.

Motherhood Circle: Part Time Working Moms FAQ
Who can join?
We welcome ALL moms and embrace diversity in background, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, etc. This group is specific to moms who are working part-time outside the home.
How many people will be in my circle? What will they be like?
Each circle will have between 5-10 moms. We're settling into parenting but still have lots of questions, want to parent with consciousness and intention, and be part of a community. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other moms on our online community.
Where do we meet?
We are currently offering circles in-person on a well-ventilated screen porch in Silver Spring, MD. Please note, we require participants to be fully vaccinated and boosted to attend in-person circles, otherwise you can join the circle via zoom.
What if I don't have someone else to look after my child(ren) during the circle?
Children under 5 are welcome to join in-person and we completely understand interruptions on zoom. The mute button definitely comes in handy! Over the last year and a half we've also come up with lots of great ideas for keeping kids busy while we're zooming - from snacks in multiple cups to a new pack of crayons.
What if I need accommodations for a disability?
We strive to host circles that are inclusive, accessible spaces for all mama-identifying people, including those with disabilities, to engage in. If you have an accessibility need please mention it in the registration form and we'll follow up with you directly.
What do we talk about during the sessions?
In our weekly meetings everyone checks in and then we have a topic each week for discussion. Topics will include changing identities, division of labor in the home, self-worth with changing work hours and income, taking an unconventional approach to career/family, and more.
What makes the Motherhood Circle different from other moms groups?
Motherhood Circles are truly community-inspired! Moms and older babies are invited to share in a space on a weekly or monthly basis, with the focus on building friendships, finding and providing support, and building our village. These groups allow moms to connect, explore our shifting identities, go deeper into how to navigate the changing relationships in our lives, and truly share with others who are in it with you.
Why should I join?
Modern-day parenting is exhausting and often lonely. We're here to bring back essential connections, talk about our under-valued role in society, and really be there for each other.
Can I drop-in to one week or start mid-session?
We don't have drop-ins - each week we get to know each other a little better and share the details of our lives and it's not conducive to have moms just come for a meeting or two. The positive part of this is when everyone commits to the group it creates a really wonderful and supportive place to return to.
What if I am going to miss a week? Is there a way to make-up?
Due to the session/cohort model there are no make-ups.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?
Full refunds (minus a processing fee) are available up to one week ahead of the circle start date. Cancellations between one week and the start of the circle receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after the circle start date.
Can I give the Motherhood Circle as a gift?
Absolutely! It's a wonderful alternative to more "stuff." Simply contact us and we'll provide you with a personalized gift certificate.
