Parenthood Circle: Parents of Older Babies & Younger Toddlers
Parenthood circles are for parents to deepen connections with each other as we continue to shape our identities and raise our children. In these circles parents with young children explore modern-day parenthood, parenting with consciousness and intention, and support each other while building confidence in ourselves.
If you are a parent with an older baby or younger toddler (ages 4-24 months) please join us for this circle where we'll connect around raising a growing kid and everything that comes along with it. Babies and Toddlers are curious, fun, and their personalities are really starting to emerge - which can be amazing to witness as a parent but also challenging to navigate as their (and our) needs have changed so much since the early days. |
We'll dive into parenting young children as we navigate our own changing identities, finding the right balance, creating and maintaining boundaries, and so much more.
Over the 12-week session we'll work on creating and living whole, fulfilling lives amidst the challenges of parenthood, navigate the endless parenting advice out there, and consider all of the cultural baggage and pressure that surrounds us. We welcome deep and authentic sharing so we can build a rich and supportive community of parents and families.
The circles include in-person meetings, activities and articles in-between sessions, and impromptu play dates. Plus, receive additional support in a private chat channel throughout the week.
In a different stage? Moms of newborns can join a Mamas Circle or Mamas Circle for Newly 2nd & 3rd Time Moms. Pregnant? Check out our Pregnancy Circle. Have older children? We'd love to have you in Motherhood: Redefined.

The circle will have between 5-9 parents. Each is settling into parenting but still has lots of questions, want to parent with consciousness and intention, and be part of a community. Most parents work full-time outside the home but some work part-time outside the home or identify as stay-at-home-parents as well. Most live within 20 minutes of Silver Spring, MD.
Where do we meet?
This circle will be offered in-person in Silver Spring, MD and we will have a screen set up for those who need to attend on zoom. Please note, we require participants to be vaccinated to attend in-person circles, otherwise you can join the circle via zoom. You can also join on zoom for any other reason.
Can I bring my child(ren) to the circle?
Yes! Babies and toddlers are welcome to come along with their parents. Some parents bring their children and others come solo.
What if I need accommodations for a disability?
We strive to host circles that are inclusive, accessible spaces for all mama-identifying people, including those with disabilities, to engage in. If you have an accessibility need please mention it in the registration form and we'll follow up with you directly.
What do we talk about during the sessions?
In our weekly meetings everyone checks in and then we have a topic each week for discussion - topics include (but are not limited to) the many aspects of our identity, childhood behavioral challenges, finding balance, changing relationships, division of labor, making sense of conflicting parenting advice, body image, the mental load of parenthood, reconnecting with ourselves, and so much more.
What makes the Parenthood Circle different from other parenting groups?
Parenthood Circles are truly community-inspired! Parents are invited to come together to find and provide support, reflect on our own changing identities, and build our village. These circles allow parents to connect, explore our shifting identities, go deeper into how to navigate the changing relationships in our lives, and truly share with others who are in it with you.
Why should I join?
Modern-day parenting is exhausting and often lonely. We're here to bring back essential connections, talk about our under-valued role in society, and really be there for each other - in person!
Can I drop-in to one week or start mid-session?
We don't have drop-ins - each week we get to know each other a little better and share the details of our lives and it's not conducive to have moms just come for a meeting or two. The positive part of this is when everyone commits to the group it creates a really wonderful and supportive place to return to each week.
What if I am going to miss a week? Is there a way to make-up?
Due to the session/cohort model there are no make-ups.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?
Refunds (minus a processing fee) are available up to two weeks ahead of the start date. Cancellations made between two weeks and one week before the start of the circle receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after one week prior to the start date.
Can I give the Parenthood Circle as a gift?
Absolutely! It's a wonderful alternative to more "stuff." Simply contact us and we'll provide you with a personalized gift certificate.
