Evening Parenthood Circle
Discover connection and support with other parents attempting to juggle it all.
Parenthood circles are for parents to deepen connections with each other as we continue to shape our identities and raise our children. In these circles parents with young children explore modern-day parenthood, parenting with consciousness and intention, and support each other while building confidence in ourselves

If you are a parent who is looking for connection and support please join us for this circle where we'll connect around parenting young children (ages 1-4) and everything that comes along with it. We'll talk about our own shifts: navigating a new identity, finding the right balance, creating and maintaining boundaries, and so much more. Plus, the joys and challenges of parenting toddlers and preschoolers including sleep, tantrums, attachment, supporting kids through transitions, and more.
Part community circle, part education around parenting young children, this circle is a space to connect, learn, and grow with other parents. The circle includes virtual meetings and impromptu weekend play dates. You'll also receive additional support in a private chat channel throughout the week. |

Evening Parenthood Circle FAQ
Who can join?
We welcome ALL parents and embrace diversity in background, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, etc. This circle is specific to parents with at least one child ages 1-4 years old. First-time, second-time or parentswith many more children are welcome.
How many people will be in my circle? What will they be like?
The circle will have between 5-9 parents. Each is settling into parenting but still has lots of questions, want to parent with consciousness and intention, and be part of a community. Most parents work full-time outside the home but some work part-time outside the home or are full-time parents. Most live within 20 minutes of Silver Spring, MD.
Where do we meet?
This circle will meet on zoom due to the late evening time.
What if I need accommodations for a disability?
We strive to host circles that are inclusive, accessible spaces for all mama-identifying people, including those with disabilities, to engage in. If you have an accessibility need please mention it in the registration form and we'll follow up with you directly.
What do we talk about during the sessions?
In our weekly meetings everyone checks in and then we have a topic each week for discussion - topics include (but are not limited to) the many aspects of our identity, finding balance, how to handle tantrums, changing relationships, division of labor, making sense of conflicting parenting advice, sleep, the mental load of parenthood, reconnecting with ourselves, helping our kids through transitions, and so much more.
What makes the Parenthood Circle different from other moms groups?
Parenthood Circles are truly community-inspired! Parents are invited to come together to find and provide support, reflect on our own changing identities, and build our village. These circles allow parents to connect, explore our shifting identities, go deeper into how to navigate the changing relationships in our lives, and truly share with others who are in it with you.
Why should I join?
Modern-day parenting is exhausting and often lonely. We're here to bring back essential connections, talk about our under-valued role in society, and really be there for each other.
Can I drop-in to one week or start mid-session?
We don't have drop-ins - each week we get to know each other a little better and share the details of our lives and it's not conducive to have parents just come for a meeting or two. The positive part of this is when everyone commits to the group it creates a really wonderful and supportive place to return to each week.
What if I am going to miss a week? Is there a way to make-up?
Due to the session/cohort model there are no make-ups.
What if I changed my mind? Can I get a refund?
Refunds (minus a processing fee) are available up to two weeks ahead of the start date. Cancellations made between two weeks and one week before the start of the circle receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after one week prior to the start date.
Can I give the Parenthood Circle as a gift?
Absolutely! It's a wonderful alternative to more "stuff." Simply contact us and we'll provide you with a personalized gift certificate.
