Time for your relationship during Covid-19

So many screens. So much juggling of work and kids. And at the end of the day everyone is exhausted, overwhelmed, and often over-touched. It's so hard to find the time/space/energy to be with our partners. 

Here are a few great ideas that came out of our Mamas Circle for staying connected to your partner:

  • family hikes/walks
  • at home date night (one person is in charge of planning what to eat - that can definitely be take-out! - and something else like a movie, board game, etc.)
  • reading together (a chapter of a kid-related or non-kid related book or an article) then discussing afterward
  • listening to a podcast together
  • attending an online event/webinar together (Politics & Prose and Sixth & I were mentioned)
  • share daily (or weekly) highs and lows or gratitudes
